Sandy Chick's House in Kelantanese Gate

This is a 3D model that I have created in Autodesk Maya. Originally, the idea came from the famous architecture in the animation cartoon series’s Spongebob Squarepants. For this architecture, I had chosen the iconic Sandy Chick’s house and then experiment with the infamouse Kelantanese Gate.

Mrs Puff Boating School in Bajau Laut

This 3D model, created in Autodesk Maya, draws inspiration from the iconic architecture of Mrs. Puff’s Boating School in the beloved cartoon series Spongebob Squarepants. To infuse uniqueness and cultural depth, I incorporated elements of the Bajau Laut house. The rumah bajau laut, indigenous to coastal regions of Southeast Asia, showcases remarkable architecture.

Spongebob Squarepants in Melayu Melaka

The 3D model I have crafted in Autodesk Maya beautifully integrates the distinctive architectural features found in the animated cartoon series Spongebob Squarepants with the notable characteristics of Rumah Melaka, showcasing a harmonious fusion of these influences. One striking aspect of the design is the incorporation of grand and imposing stairs, reminiscent of the traditional Malay house.

Fancy Restaurant in Rumah Panjang

This 3D model I created in Autodesk Maya combines the architectural influences of a Fancy Restaurant and Rumah Panjang, a traditional house style commonly found in Southeast Asia. Rumah Panjang, meaning “long house,” is characterized by its elongated structure supported by sturdy stilts. This design not only provides protection against flooding but also allows for better ventilation and utilization of space beneath the house.

Krusty Krab in Minangkabau

For the dark colour mood, I used the lambert material for all surfaces for my model. As for the texture, I used the bubbles texture for the door and set up the metalness higher and reduced it’s transparency so that I create refection on the door. I used the polygon cube and cylinder shape the most to create this model. The colour is the exact as in the animated series which is dark brown but I added some dark yellow on the roof.

Mr Krab's House in Rumah Limas Bungkus

Famous especially in Terengganu, Malaysia, this model was inspired by the famous architectures of Rumah Limas Bungkus that was merged and modified with Mr Krab's House.

Squidward's House in Minangkabau

For this model, I added the element that contained the famous Negeri Sembilan Minangkabau house, which is famous for their horn lookalike roof on the Squidward's house.

Patrick Star's House in Sarawak Bidayuh

It is challenging foor for me to figure out the perfect theme for this one particular house.
